Salay $36-$40/hr

Job Description:

Operate a core-drilling rig 12 hours per day
Work in a mining/construction type environment
Take care of Housekeeping of Drill rig and site with the helper
Prepare daily reports of all drilling activities (footage drilled, samples recovered, time spent performing other activities besides drilling)
Document daily pre-shift inspections. (Safety cards)
Attend Daily safety meetings (tool box meeting)
Carry out and document maintenance repairs on equipment
Report all documents to supervisor
Communicate with Geology
Performing drilling test.
Help supervisor with drill and equipment moves.
Help supervisor with drill set-up and lining up
Supervise duties of Helper
Making sure Helper is fueling the Equipment
Making sure Helper is taking care of pump shack
Helping the Helper keep the site clean and in order
Wearing personal protective equipment
